Avenue PITA & Espresso was established in December 2006 by Josephine Garcia and Anna Schiessl. Both Garcia and Schiessl met in 2001 while employed at Western Washington University Dining Services as Operation Managers. With 31 combined years of restaurant and management experience they both combined their talents and passion for food and opened the first Avenue PITA & Espresso located on Cordata Parkway.

The commitment to provide an excellent experience to thier customers has been a vital part of their success. They strive in maintaining a well-trained team of employees and stress the importance of customer retention and satisfaction.
